Amazon data access

CEILR's Amazon SP-API scope

Current status: CEILR has applied for Amazon SP-API access. Direct SP-API connectivity is pending Amazon approval and is not presented as live today. After Amazon approval, an eligible seller must explicitly authorize CEILR before CEILR can call SP-API on that seller's behalf.

Operator and purpose

CEILR is operated by Arc Techno Pty Ltd, Australia. CEILR is seller decision-intelligence software for product/listing research, search visibility, seller economics, monitoring, evidence and seller-controlled decision support. CEILR is independent from Amazon and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon.

Requested role: Product Listing

CEILR requests Product Listing because its listing/search workflows need permitted Amazon catalog and seller-listing context. The intended use is read-only: retrieving permitted catalog/listing details, listing attributes, listing status/issues and product-type requirements so CEILR can evaluate listing completeness, constraints, eligibility signals and evidence for seller decisions.

The Product Listing role can enable write operations for some applications. CEILR does not use that capability. CEILR's current architecture does not create, update, patch, merge or delete Amazon listings and does not write prices or inventory.

Requested role: Brand Analytics

For eligible sellers and brands, CEILR requests Brand Analytics to read permitted Amazon marketplace/brand analytics reports and datasets that help connect product research and search visibility to first-party seller-authorized evidence. The exact reports available depend on the seller, marketplace, Brand Registry/report eligibility and Amazon's approved scope.

Authorization and least privilege

CEILR will not call SP-API for a seller until Amazon has approved the application and the seller has completed Amazon's applicable authorization flow. CEILR will request and use only the access needed for the disclosed seller-facing workflows. Revoking authorization stops new SP-API calls for that seller authorization.

What CEILR does not request or do

  • No restricted SP-API roles in the current application.
  • No buyer personally identifiable information (PII) or Restricted Data Tokens (RDTs) in the current scope.
  • No Amazon listing, price, inventory, order, advertising campaign, bid, budget or keyword writes.
  • No buyer communications or review-request writes.
  • No sale of Amazon-originated seller data to advertisers or other sellers.
  • No fabricated Amazon feeds, sales, ranks, bids, revenue or evidence when a source is unavailable.

Retention, security and deletion

Amazon-originated non-PII data is subject to a maximum 18-month retention period and may be deleted sooner when no longer needed for the disclosed purpose or when Amazon policy or applicable law requires earlier deletion. Security logs are retained for at least 12 months under current Amazon SP-API security guidance. Credentials and authorization tokens are handled server-side; CEILR uses HTTPS/TLS, authenticated tenant isolation and least-privilege service access.
